Our First show at the Royal Bath & West Showground

What a show! I firstly want to say a thank you to my existing customers that came to see us at the show. It was fantastic to see you. It was so nice to interact with new customers also. Our country range candles, wax melts and reed diffusers were a huge hit! Apparently, customers could smell our stand at least 30 feet away! We certainly stood out in our bright yellow gazebo which was highly decorated for the Queen's Jubilee.

The days were very long. the alarm was set for 5am and then we drove to Shepton Mallet to ensure the set up was right before it opened each day. Due to health and safety Traders were not allowed to move from the site until after 7pm.

 

My heart was pounding on day 3 when we arrived to see that winds the night prior had knocked over many gazebos. Driving to our stand I was very worried as we had to pass other gazebos which had been destroyed or had flown over.
